Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AuTime ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AuTime is a content automation platform that enables users to schedule, manage, and publish video content to TikTok through TikTok's official Content Posting API.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using AuTime, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to connect your TikTok account via OAuth 2.0. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your use of the Service complies with TikTok's Terms of Service

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or publish through the Service. By using AuTime, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or distribute spam, malware, or malicious content
• Violate TikTok's Terms of Service or API Usage Policies
• Artificially inflate views, likes, or followers
• Impersonate others or create deceptive content
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without explicit written consent

7. Subscription and Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices are listed in EUR (€) on our pricing page and include applicable VAT where required by EU law.

• Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service
• Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Paid plans include a free trial: 3 days for Pro and 7 days for Plus. No payment is charged during the trial period; you may cancel before the trial ends without any charge
• To manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription, use the Customer Portal accessible from your account dashboard
• Refunds are handled by LemonSqueezy in accordance with their refund policy. Contact hello@autime.xyz for any billing disputes
• Upon subscription expiration or cancellation, your account will revert to the free Starter tier. Your content and account data are preserved

8. AI Content Learning

AuTime may use performance data from your TikTok videos (views, engagement metrics retrieved via TikTok's official API) to improve AI-generated suggestions for your account, including captions, hashtags, and content ideas. By using the Service, you grant AuTime a limited license to process this performance data for this purpose. You can opt out by contacting hello@autime.xyz. Your performance data is never shared with or used to improve results for other users.

9. API Limitations

AuTime utilizes TikTok's official Content Posting API and is subject to limitations imposed by TikTok. We are not responsible for changes to TikTok's API availability, rate limits, or functionality.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuTime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union.
