Quick Start

Get AuTime running in under 5 minutes. Follow these steps to connect your first TikTok account and start automating.

Connecting Accounts

AuTime uses TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 flow to connect to your account. Your TikTok credentials are never stored — only a short-lived access token is used.

How to connect

1. Open the Dashboard
2. Click Add TikTok Account
3. You'll be redirected to TikTok's authorization page
4. Log in with the account you want to connect and approve the permissions
5. You'll be redirected back to AuTime with the account now active

What permissions does AuTime request?

AuTime only requests the minimum permissions needed to post content:

• video.upload — to upload videos as drafts
• video.publish — to upload content as drafts to your TikTok inbox
• user.info.basic — to display your account name in the dashboard

Removing an account

You can disconnect any account at any time from the Dashboard by clicking the button next to it. This removes the access token from AuTime immediately. You can also revoke access directly from your TikTok settings under Privacy → Apps and Websites.

Scheduling & Automation

AuTime sends your content directly to TikTok drafts, so you can review and publish from the TikTok app whenever you're ready.

How it works

When you upload content through AuTime, it is sent to your TikTok account as a draft. From your TikTok inbox, you can publish it instantly or schedule it for a specific time.

Optimal posting times

AuTime tracks engagement metrics across your posted content and continuously updates its model for your specific account. In the first 2 weeks, it uses general TikTok data for your niche. After that, it switches to account-specific data.

Content queue

Your TikTok drafts inbox shows all uploaded content. Review captions, add music, or adjust anything before going live — all from the TikTok app.

AI Assistant

The AI Assistant turns plain-language requests into real actions inside AuTime.

What you can ask

• Generate carousels — “make 3 motivation carousels about discipline.”
• Upload to accounts — “upload this to @account1 and @account2.”
• Set up automations — “every day at 6pm post a fitness carousel to my 3 accounts.”
• Export to Google Drive — save generated carousels straight into a Drive folder.
• Performance summary — “how are my accounts doing?”

Preview before anything happens

Every action that creates or uploads content shows a real preview first. Nothing happens until you approve.

Use the Connections icon (top-right) to link Google Drive to your AuTime account.

AI Content Generation

AuTime's AI writes captions, hooks, and hashtag sets for every piece of content you upload — optimized for your niche, audience, and current TikTok trends.

What the AI generates

• Hook — the first 3 seconds of copy that stops the scroll
• Caption — the full post description, including call to action
• Hashtags — a mix of niche-specific, trending, and long-tail tags

AI Studio

The AI Content Generator has two modes: Images and Carousel.

Image Generation

Describe what you want and choose a style — Photorealistic, Cinematic, Aesthetic, Dark & Moody, or Minimalist. The AI generates images in 9:16 aspect ratio, optimized for TikTok vertical format.

Carousel Mode

A manual slide editor where you write your own content. The system applies editorial design automatically — cream background, Playfair Display typography, and accent colors — producing polished carousel slides ready to upload.

Template Customization

Templates can be customized with color pickers for background and accent colors, plus a font selector to match your brand identity.

Customizing AI output

You can edit any AI-generated text before posting. You can also provide a brand voice document in your account settings — a short description of your tone, audience, and language style — that the AI uses as a reference for every piece of content.

How the AI learns

Over time, the AI analyzes which captions and hooks performed best on your account and adjusts its output to match. Posts that generate high watch time, clicks, or saves influence the style of future generated copy.

Revenue Tracking

AuTime tracks which videos drive real results — link taps, bio clicks, external visits — and connects those signals to revenue so you know exactly what's working.

• Revenue attribution — if you connect an affiliate or product link, AuTime maps clicks to conversions

Revenue attribution

Connect your affiliate link or product URL in settings. AuTime tracks which posts sent traffic there and estimates revenue contribution based on your conversion rate. This lets you see your true ROI per post, not just vanity metrics.

Finding your winners

The Revenue Dashboard shows a ranked list of your top posts by revenue contribution. Use this to identify which content formats, hooks, and topics to replicate.

Multi-Account Management

AuTime supports multiple TikTok accounts from a single dashboard. Ideal for agencies, creators with multiple niches, or brand portfolios.

Adding multiple accounts

You can connect up to 5 TikTok accounts on the Pro plan, unlimited on Plus and Enterprise. Each account has its own content queue, scheduling settings, and analytics.

Switching between accounts

Click any account in the accounts list on the Dashboard to make it active. All uploads and scheduling actions apply to the selected account.

• Posting schedule and frequency
• AI brand voice configuration
• Revenue tracking link
• Analytics dashboard

Bulk Upload

Upload weeks of content in a single session. AuTime handles caption generation and sends everything to your TikTok drafts, ready for you to post from the native app.

Supported formats

• Video — MP4, MOV, WebM (up to 500MB per file)
• Photo carousel — JPG, PNG, WebP (up to 35 images per carousel)

How to bulk upload

Affiliate Links

Convert any affiliate URL into a short trackable link. Every click is logged per day so you can attribute revenue to specific TikTok posts.

How it works

1. Go to Dashboard → Links → click '+ New affiliate link'
2. Paste your original affiliate URL and optionally add a label
3. AuTime generates a short link: autime.xyz/l/abc123
4. Use that short link in your TikTok bio. Every click is logged with the date.
5. Inside the link's stats panel you see a 30-day click chart and the total accumulated clicks.

Best practices

• Create one link per niche / campaign rather than one per post — easier to read trends
• Rotate the link in your TikTok bio when you publish a new winning post — that traffic spike is attributable
• Labels are private — only you see them. Use descriptive names like 'Symmetry · summer offer'
• Deleting a link is permanent — historical click data is lost. Disable instead by simply not linking to it anymore.

Performance Predictor

Before you publish, AuTime scores your caption 0-100 and shows you exactly what's strong and what's weak — based on your historical winners.

How to use

1. Write or paste a caption in the Batch tab
2. Below the textarea, click 'Predict performance'
3. In ~2 seconds you get a score (0-99), a verdict and up to 6 specific signals

What it analyzes

• Hook strength — opening line patterns proven to stop the scroll
• Power phrases — words that correlate with high engagement
• Hashtag count — sweet spot is 5-8
• Length — captions between 80 and 220 characters perform best
• Emoji usage — 1-4 emojis is ideal
• Personalized: matches against your own top-performing hooks and hashtags

Carousel Templates

Pre-built carousel structures with proven slide flows and captions. Pick one, customize, ship in minutes.

Available niches

Templates currently include: Fitness, Business, Affiliate Marketing, Self-Improvement, Money / Personal Finance, Skincare, Food, Ecommerce / Dropshipping. More niches added monthly.

How to use

1. Go to Dashboard → Templates
2. Filter by niche or browse all
3. Click 'Preview' to see the full slide flow + caption + hashtags
4. Click 'Use this' to apply — caption pre-loaded into Batch, you just pick images and accounts

Competitor Tracking

Monitor up to 10 competitor TikTok accounts. Log their stats periodically to spot what's working in your niche.

Why it's a manual journal (not auto-scraping)

TikTok's official API does not expose other accounts' public statistics, and scraping violates their terms. AuTime gives you a structured journal: visit a competitor once a week, log their followers / avg views / posting frequency, and AuTime tracks the trend over time.

How to use

1. Dashboard → Competitors → '+ Add competitor'
2. Enter the TikTok handle, optional niche tag and initial notes
3. Once a week, click 'Check-in' on each competitor and log their stats
4. AuTime shows a trend badge (+X followers since last check-in) and keeps the last 30 check-ins

Content Calendar

Visualize every post across all your TikTok accounts on a monthly grid. Click any day to see what was published.

What's on it

• Every post you've uploaded through AuTime, organized by day
• Colored dots per day: pink for videos, cyan for carousels
• A counter per day showing total posts
• Filter dropdown to show only a specific account, or 'All accounts'
• Month navigation with 'Today' shortcut

• Audit your posting frequency — are there gap days you didn't notice?
• See which account is behind in posting cadence
• Cross-reference high-performing days with what was posted that day

Plans & Billing

AuTime offers four plans: Starter (free), Pro (€4.99/month), Plus (€14.99/month), and Enterprise (custom).

Plan comparison

Billing & cancellation

Plans are billed monthly or annually in EUR (€) through LemonSqueezy. You can cancel anytime from your customer portal — no fees, no questions. Annual plans give 2 months free.

What counts toward each limit

• Carousels/month — every successful carousel upload to a TikTok account (in Batch or Content tab) counts as 1 toward your monthly quota. Resets the 1st of each month.
• Image searches/day — each call to the search box counts as 1, regardless of how many images come back. Resets at midnight UTC.
• AI captions/day — each AI generation (single or batch of variants) counts as 1. Resets at midnight UTC.
• TikTok accounts — counted by connected accounts. Disconnecting an account frees the slot immediately.

What happens when you hit a limit

The action is blocked and an upgrade modal appears with the next plan that solves your need, a free trial badge (3 or 7 days), and a one-click checkout. Your existing data is never lost — only the action is paused until you upgrade or the quota resets.

Privacy & Security

AuTime is built with privacy first. We never store your TikTok credentials. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

TikTok authentication

AuTime uses TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 flow. You authorize AuTime through TikTok's own interface — your username and password are never entered into AuTime and never visible to us.

Access tokens are stored encrypted and scoped only to content publishing permissions. They expire automatically and can be revoked at any time from your TikTok settings.

Data we collect

• Your email address (for account creation)
• TikTok account name and profile picture (displayed in dashboard)
• Performance metrics for your published posts (views, clicks, saves)
• Content you upload for scheduling (videos and images)

Data we never collect

• Your TikTok password or credentials
• Your TikTok DMs or private messages
• Your follower or following lists
• Any data from accounts you have not explicitly connected

Data deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@autime.xyz. Deletion is processed within 72 hours.
